Performance

Part-Time 4WD System

The part-time 4WD system normally operates in 2WD for efficient on-road driving, and allows the driver to engage 4WD when additional traction is needed on rough or slippery surfaces.

Rear Differential Lock

The rear differential lock mechanically locks the rear differential so that both rear wheels rotate at the same speed, helping the vehicle maintain traction when one wheel loses grip.

2nd Gear Start

Starts the vehicle in 2nd gear instead of 1st to reduce wheel spin and provide smoother, more controlled acceleration on slippery or low-traction surfaces such as snow, mud, or wet roads.

Downhill Assist Control (DAC)

Helps prevent excessive speed on steep downhill slopes by automatically controlling the brakes to maintain a low, constant speed.

Inclinometer

The inclinometer shows the vehicle’s pitch and roll angles on the instrument display so drivers can understand vehicle tilt when driving off-road.

6-Speed Super ECT

The 6-speed Super ECT (Electronically Controlled Transmission) is a super-intelligent automatic transmission that delivers smooth shifting while balancing strong driving performance and fuel efficiency.
