SAS Automotive Trade and Services Co., Ltd, the authorized dealer of Toyota Iraq, inaugurated the new Al-Muthanna Airport Service Center in Baghdad on Friday, October 17, 2025. This new facility expands the company’s growing network and marks its fourth service center in the capital. The opening reflects SAS’s strategic plan to enhance geographic coverage and after-sales efficiency, ensuring Toyota owners enjoy a seamless, world-class service experience with easier access across Iraq.
The opening ceremony was attended by several distinguished officials and representatives from both the public and private sectors, including Eng. Arshad Salam Murshid, Director General of Al-Karkh Municipality Center; Mr. Abdullah Al-Kinani, Director of Al-Mansour District; Mr. Hashem Mohammed Hatem Al-Sudani, Director General of the General Automobiles and Machinery Co.; and Dr. Maki Jaber Nasser, Director General of the Iraqi Railways. From the private sector, Mr. Salar Al-Bebany, Managing Director of SAS, and Dr. Sabah Kadhim Mahal, Baghdad City Responsible, attended the event, alongside representatives from Toyota Iraq.
The event began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a guided tour showcasing the center’s advanced maintenance workshops, equipped with the latest diagnostic tools and certified Japanese systems. Guests also received a detailed overview of the comprehensive services offered at the new facility, including regular maintenance, specialized repairs, and full vehicle inspections conducted under the highest standards of quality and safety.
In his welcome remarks, Dr. Sabah Kadhim Mahal highlighted that the opening of the Al-Muthanna Airport Service Center comes in response to the growing number of Toyota vehicles in Baghdad. He emphasized that the center’s strategic location will make it easier for customers to access authorized Toyota services across the city, and added:
