Toyota Iraq, the exclusive and official distributor of Toyota, Lexus, and Hino vehicles in Iraq, participated in the 2025 Security and Defense Exhibition, held at the Baghdad International Exhibition Center from April 19 to 22. Toyota stood out as a key player in supporting the needs of the security and service sectors in Iraq by providing comprehensive solutions designed to support field missions under various conditions.
Toyota Iraq showcased a diverse range of vehicles tailored to meet the needs of both the security and service sectors, presenting three Land Cruiser 70 models, four HiAce models, along with a Crown model, a Prado model, and a Lexus RX350. These vehicles were equipped with special gear and equipment suitable for use by security and service sectors such as the army, police, field survey teams, ambulances, investigations, and prisoner transport units, as well as K9 units.
The Land Cruiser 70 was displayed as it returned to its roots as a heavy-duty service vehicle, featuring a tough, modern design inspired by its rich heritage, coupled with exceptional performance thanks to its 4.0-liter V6 engine delivering 228 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque, a 5-speed manual transmission, vehicle stability control, and hill-assist features.
The HiAce model stood out as the ideal choice for public transport and ambulances, with its practical design, spacious cabin, and structure designed to provide maximum comfort and high safety standards, reflecting Toyota’s commitment to modern transport standards.
Meanwhile. the Toyota Crown embodied a unique blend of luxury, performance, and engineering innovation, making a statement suitable for official and high-profile settings.
This participation carried the slogan "Toyota ... Built for Endurance," clearly reflecting Toyota's philosophy of producing vehicles that are reliable in the harshest conditions. Each vehicle embodies strength and reliability, meeting the high-performance demands in the field, whether in security tasks, emergency services, or daily logistical operations.
The Toyota Iraq booth also featured a model of the "Grendizer" character, which was a symbol of the company’s recent campaign. Toyota chose "Grendizer" for its symbolic value, as it is not just a fictional hero but represents the spirit of challenge, commitment to progress, and steadfastness in the face of difficulties—values that Toyota embodies in every vehicle it produces and in every solution it innovates.
At the end of its participation, Toyota Iraq reaffirmed its commitment to supporting state institutions through its authorized dealers spread across Iraq, including SAS Trading and Vehicle Services Ltd., Cihan Motors, Al-Ba'aj, Al-Emlaq Al-Ahmar, Dar Al-Mubdia, and Al-Bar. Through this network, the company continues to provide the best after-sales services, genuine spare parts, and integrated solutions that meet the needs of both security and civil entities alike.
