On February 16, 2026, Soran District in Erbil Governorate witnessed the inauguration of the new branch of Cihan Motors, an authorized company of Toyota Iraq for the Toyota brand, located at the Soran Gate opposite Ashti Hospital. This opening marks a new step within a carefully planned expansion strategy, through which the company aims to strengthen its aftersales presence in areas closer to customers. The center has been designed to meet the growing demands of the market, offering a smoother and more convenient service experience in one of the governorate’s liveliest cities.
The opening ceremony was attended by several officials from Toyota Iraq and Cihan Motors, including Mr. Tadashi Tanimoto, Managing Director of Toyota Iraq, and Mr. Mustafa Bajger, General Manager of Cihan Motors. The event included a guided tour of the new facility, during which attendees explored the advanced maintenance equipment and genuine parts section, alongside welcoming remarks highlighting the significance of this expansion and its impact on the development of aftersales services.
The new center provides express maintenance services within a practical framework designed to meet customers’ daily needs, offering a range of services that include quick inspections, oil changes, basic periodic maintenance, and the replacement of consumable parts with genuine spare parts. These services are delivered in accordance with clear standards of quality and safety, supported by trained technical staff and modern equipment that ensure efficiency without compromising accuracy or reliability.
