Toyota Iraq participated in the 49th edition of the Baghdad International Fair, held from February 1 to 7, 2026, at Hall 16 within the Japanese Pavilion. The participation delivered a comprehensive showcase featuring advanced vehicle models, groundbreaking technologies, and an integrated brand experience that reflects Toyota’s Japanese philosophy of reliability, innovation, and sustainability. The showcase represented three core brands: Toyota, Toyota GR, and Lexus.
The Toyota Iraq booth presented a holistic vision of modern mobility by highlighting solutions and technologies that balance performance with environmental efficiency. Displayed models included the Camry, Urban Cruiser, Prado, and Land Cruiser, addressing a wide range of mobility needs, from everyday urban driving to demanding off-road use.
On the performance front, the Toyota GR section stood out with the display of the GR 86 and LC 300 GR models, embodying Toyota’s high-performance philosophy inspired by its motorsport heritage and advanced engineering expertise.
The booth also featured Lexus models, including the LX 700h and NXh, which demonstrated the brand’s approach to refined luxury combined with advanced hybrid technologies.
To further illustrate hybrid systems, the showcase included a half-cut technical display alongside hybrid powertrain components, including an engine and transmission. This educational setup aimed to simplify the operation of Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) and help visitors understand how key components integrate to enhance overall efficiency.
Enhancing visitor engagement, the booth featured an interactive Toyota GR zone equipped with driving simulators as part of an e-sports competition, blending advanced technology with the spirit of competition.
Toyota Iraq concluded its showcase by presenting the fully electric bZ4X, highlighting the brand’s direction toward low-emission mobility and reaffirming its commitment to delivering practical electric solutions aligned with the global transition toward a more sustainable future.
The participation reflected Toyota Iraq’s practical and customer-focused approach to the local market through clear vehicle displays, simplified technical explanations, and direct interaction with visitors.
