Al-Baaj Company, a part of the Toyota Iraq network, participated as an official sponsor of Iraqi Engineers Day and the anniversary of the establishment of the Iraqi Engineers Union in 1959. The event was organized by the Union Al-Diwaniyah Branch and was attended by more than 500 participants, including government officials, academics, and professionals.
The celebration was attended by the Governor of Al-Diwaniyah, Mr. Abbas Shuyail Al-Zamili, along with members of the Al-Diwaniyah Provincial Council, members of the Iraqi Parliament, prominent academic and professional figures, and a large gathering of engineers and individuals interested in engineering affairs.
The event program included honoring a distinguished group of engineers and supporters of the engineering sector, in addition to presenting certificates of appreciation, various awards, competitions, and cultural and entertainment activities in recognition of engineers’ efforts and their contributions to development and reconstruction.
During the event, the Iraqi Engineers Union – Al-Diwaniyah Branch honored Engineer Aya Haider Al-Baaj, representative of Al-Baaj Company, in recognition of the company’s sponsorship of the celebration and its contribution to supporting professional and community initiatives and activities within the governorate.
This participation reflects Al-Baaj Company’s commitment to contributing to events that celebrate Iraqi talent and support professional working environments, based on its belief in the importance of cooperation between the private sector and professional institutions in promoting community development and highlighting distinguished national role models.
Speaking on the occasion, Engineer Aya Haider Al-Baaj emphasized that supporting professional and community activities is an integral part of the company’s institutional mission.
