Toyota Iraq, in collaboration with Al-Emlaq Al-Ahmar Company, announced the official opening of Toyota’s new service station in the city of Al-Najaf. Strategically located on Airport Street in Al-Ameer District’s service road near Al-Wafi warehouse, the new facility marks an important step in Toyota Iraq’s strategy to expand its service network across the country. The initiative reinforces the company’s commitment to Japanese quality standards and its mission to deliver comprehensive automotive solutions to Toyota owners in every Iraqi province.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several distinguished figures, including the Governor of Al-Najaf, Mr. Youssef Kanawi, the Ambassador of Japan to Iraq, H.E. Akira Endo, the Chief Executive Officer of Toyota Iraq, Mr. Tadashi Tanimoto, and the General Manager of Al-Emlaq Al-Ahmar Company, Mr. Mokhlis Aziz. The event began with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by a guided tour of the new station’s advanced maintenance facilities, where guests explored the contemporary service areas equipped with the latest globally certified Japanese technologies. The ceremony also featured welcoming remarks that emphasized the project’s importance in supporting local communities and advancing Iraq’s automotive and service sectors.
The new station is part of a broader strategic plan aimed at enhancing Toyota’s after-sales network and deepening customer trust in the brand. Its operations focus on improving service standards by reducing waiting times, accelerating response efficiency, and providing certified maintenance services that meet Toyota’s highest global benchmarks.
